Tomatos auto start

Reported by Doug Bradbury | February 25th, 2009 @ 12:55 PM

I don't like that the tomato automatically starts after the break. I'd rather hit a button to start it. (In case I don't quite make it back, or am taking a longer break)

I'm undecided about this. I like the idea that when I hear the bell I don't need to do anything and the pomodoro is already running. This put pressure on me to go back to the pomodoro. Sometimes I add 2 more minutes to the break and I start the pomodoro while it's 23 mins. I don't think this breaks the pomodoro rules (I take them flexibly). If you want to take a longer break (say more than 7-8 mins) leave the pomodoro running and when you're back, click void and restart. Do you still don't like it? Thanks for the feedback.
