Crash on startup
Reported by Miha Filej | March 26th, 2009 @ 09:50 AM
I haven't been able to run pomodori in the last few days because it crashes on startup. I tried downloading the latest version (and macruby 0.4). I also tried building from source, with no success. I'm attaching the log file from Console.app, let me know if I can help in some other way.

Sorry it took some time to get back to you. Can you tell me if you have the tbl file created by Pomodori in ~/Library/Application Support/Pomodori? Can you attach the content? Thanks, Renzo.

I just tried to download it and I get a crash on startup as well. I don't even see a folder in Application Support for Pomodori. This is the first time I tried to download and run the program, so it's not like I had it working at some point.
Thanks!

Leah, can you attach what you see in the Console.app? I'm expecting some core dump there, maybe I can understand what's going on. Thank you.

Leah I'm closing this, but if you experience again the crash feel free to open another ticket.

Leah, I had this same issue. I was also unable to run macgem from the command line. It kept giving me exceptions the error "no such file to load -- stringio (LoadError)"
Turns out my install of MacRuby 0.4 was corrupt. I re-installed MacRuby and now Pomodori works.
